The number of confirmed cases of coronary virus in Bangladesh has risen to six.

 Addressing a press conference of the National Institute of Pathology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) from Mohakhali on Wednesday (March 8th), Mirzadi Sabrina Flora, the company's director, said.

He said seven people were kept in isolation on suspicion of infection. There are 12 people in the institutional quarantine. The three new patients who have been added are a woman, three men. One of them is a family member of a previously infected person. The remaining 5 have traveled abroad. Two of them are from Italy, another is from Kuwait.

Sabrina Flora said they do not have any information that Corona's situation is now at the 'community transmission' level when the infection is on the rise. So far, all the 'local transmissions' or family transmissions have occurred, he said.

Meanwhile, for the first time, a person has died in Bangladesh after being infected with Corona. IEDCR director said at the press conference. Mirzadi Sabrina Flora shared the information.
